Technical Sales Executive We are an international company with offices in the UK, South Sudan and Kenya, and provide communications equipment and services to NGOs throughout Africa. Our products include VHF and HF radios, Satellite Phones, Satellite Data Units, VSATs, together with a full range of ancillary products and engineering services. We are seeking to employ a Nairobi based sales executive, to join the Kenya office Sales and Marketing department. Requirements: • The individual should hold a Diploma or Degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Management or Commerce from a recognized institution. • She / he should have at least 2 years’ experience in a sales position. • She / he should have experience or knowledge of communications equipment. • Experience in the NGO market will be an added advantage. The role of the sales executive will entail: • Visit existing NGO customers to build and maintain relationships with key decision makers in logistics and finance • Identify and target NGOs in Kenya who are potential customers and build relationships through visits and presentations • Maintain timely email and telephone communication with existing and prospective customers • Respond to customer requests for quotation in a timely and accurate manner • Maintain an updated and secure database of customers and key contacts • Gather customer feedback and market trends in the industry and provide reports • Maintain a sales diary reflecting weekly and monthly plans of activities • Contribute to the company’s turnover by introducing new business from existing and new customers. • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, trade shows and related industry events. Some travel may be required. • Maintain the high standards of the company in presentation, communication and ethical behaviour with customers at all times. An attractive remuneration including a retainer and commission will be offered to the successful candidate.
