·                     Assisting investors, visitors and enquiries to the Managing Director’s office and directing them to relevant departments/ units;
·                     Drafting correspondences for MD’s consideration;
·                     Carrying out background research on topical issues as may be required from time to time by the Managing Director;
·                     Assisting in preparation of incoming and outgoing missions by making follow-ups traveling schedules, MD travel clearance, etc;

Job Title: Accountant

Job Purpose: Compiling and posting general ledger information and summaries concerning various financial transactions in order to ensure accurate and timely maintenance of accounting records in accordance with prescribed financial policies

Roles and Responsibilities   
·                     Compile and post general ledger information and summaries concerning various financial transactions;
·                     Prepare general ledger journal entries to record cash, revenue, and expense activities;
·                     Carry out bank reconciliation, selected account reconciliation, including cash reconciliation as well as prepare other appropriate schedules as required;
·                     To prepare and close monthly entries, analysis and reconcile all balance sheet accounts, prepare monthly financial statements and other accounting reports;
·                     To check and verify expenditure before preparing payment vouchers, cheques and remittance payments;
·                     To prepare tax returns to ensure compliance with the required tax payment information and other statutory requirements;
·                     Proper maintenance, storage, security and filing of all financial and accounting documents in order to ensure that they are properly kept and accessible for action;
·                     Receive and issue receipts in respect of all cash paid in;
·                     Making cash payments in respect of staff claims;
·                     Maintain and regularly reconcile assets register with the general ledger;

·                     Liaising with the Trade Officers at the headquarters of KenInvest and Officers within the Regional/County level on various updates on projects which need Government attention;
·                     Addressing specific investor needs and concerns;
·                     Facilitating creation of investment clubs and committees;

Roles and Responsibilities   
·                     Facilitate regular meetings with investor services officers to discuss issues raised by investors, research on them to verify facts and timely communication of the same to the relevant Agencies;
·                     Spearhead preparation of regular memos, policy briefs and media articles on improvement of investment policy and climate for consideration by policy makers;
·                     Implementation and follow up of policy advocacy strategy to ensure that issues of concern to investors are addressed;
·                     Identifying, selecting and acquiring publications, journals and any other relevant material for the resource centre;
·                     Assisting in preparation of the Strategic Plan;
·                     Researching on strategies to be adopted by the Authority to attain World-Class standards;
·                     Performing and evaluating objectives as spelt out in the Strategic Plan;

Job Purpose:
  
To develop and implement ICT strategies for efficient and effective systems.

Roles and Responsibilities
·                     Developing and implementing ICT strategy to ensure that KenInvest is at the frontier of ICT technology;
·                     Ensuring that a comprehensive and effective ICT infrastructure is in place;
·                     Providing and maintaining appropriate service delivery;
·                     Providing and maintaining appropriate ICT equipment (Hardware and Software);
·                     Identifying training needs in ICT and facilitating implementation;
